I shared a bit of Tricia and Robert’s ceremony last night, and decided to go ahead and blog the whole wedding today! These two are definitely troopers — they moved their wedding indoors due to weather concerns the morning of the wedding — and everything went off without a hitch! I had a ton of fan hanging out with Robert and his family pre-ceremony, and loved the tight-knit family dancing afterward.
Tricia and Robert were recently married, and part of their ceremony included a family unification signified by the gifting of a tree medallion to their four-year-old son. I was totally in love with this bit — there’s hardly anything sweeter than a family coming together on a wedding day! The best part was the their son was SO proud of his gift — the entire exchange made for a really sweet series of photos I wanted to go ahead and share. The rest of the wedding will be up soon!
I recently spent two days in Birmingham, Alabama, shooting the rehearsal dinner and wedding of Anna and Jon with my awesome second shooter, Blake. The dinner at the historic Tutwiler Hotel is all set for viewing — while I’m not ready to release the entire wedding yet, there is a special sneak peek of the two love Birds (their last name is actually Bird! Lucky!) at the end of this post for the curious.
I’ve known my best friend Kimberly for over a decade, and she’s really like family — my son, Jasper, adores her. We had the idea to have a mini session with Jazz and his Aunt Mimi (as she’s known to him and her niece and nephews), and I’m completely smitten with the results!
